A Tribute to Those Who Served

The Humboldt Veterans Memorial is a community-driven effort to create a permanent, respectful tribute to the veterans of Humboldt and Humboldt County — those still with us and those we've lost.

The project was spearheaded by Daryle Zwiefel, a retired Humboldt Postmaster and Vietnam War Army veteran, who recognized that Humboldt deserved a dedicated place to honor its own. "We're losing names of our Veterans. They're dying off and they're gone," Zwiefel said.

This memorial will stand as a lasting reminder that their service will never be forgotten — by this generation or any that follows.
